Camden was the cutest monkey ever for Halloween! We didn't get many pictures but he went to a trunk or treat with his cousins, Cobe and Chloe on Thursday and then went trick or treating with his other cousins, Parker, Ethan, and Madilyn on Saturday. He had so much fun but I couldn't get him to smile for the pics:(
So I was wrong! For some reason I really thought this whole time that I was pregnant with a little girl. We found out today that it's another little guy and we're so excited! Camden is going to have so much fun with a little brother:) Well, I'm starting my 20th week this week so we're half way there-this pregnancy is going by so much faster than the first. Anyway, we're excited and are thinking about the name Cade-not sure about a middle name yet?
Camden has been doing lots of new stuff latley! He started walking a couple weeks ago and is walking everywhere now....it's kinda funny because he has a little waddle:) He had his last bottle of formula this morning and he didn't know what was coming. When it was time for his usual next bottle he got a sippy cup full of whole milk and definatley wasn't a fan. It's gonna take some getting used to for the little guy:) He got his one year old immunizations today and his flu shot along with his first H1N1 shot. He did good and didn't cry at all for the first two but then lost it for the second two...poor kid has had a rough day! Along with getting older, he has also started to show a bit of an attitude-mainly just to Creston and me. He's started throwing himself on the floor and crying when he doesn't get what he wants and he's becoming a big fan of hitting and biting(me especially) when he's frusterataed. It's been a little crazy but he's still the cutest and sweetest boy in the world. He loves to cuddle up and gives great hugs and when he wants to be extra sweet he will come lay his head on your lap and let you stroke his hair. He's a funny kid and we're excited for him to get a little sibling soon:) Here's some pictures from his birthday party...
Camden had the best birthday! He got to celebrate his birthday twice because his Grandpa Steve and Grandma Schelle came down earlier this week to give him his presents and then he had his birthday party on Saturday. They got him a truck that we can push him around in and he loves it. That's all he played with all week:) He got so many other presents as well and had such a good time with his cousins! He was a little overwhelmed I think because he had a bit of a crazy day. We took him to get his one year pictures taken that morning and then took him out to lunch and then we came home and had his party. He didn't know quite what to do with himself but we're pretty sure he had a good time:)
Camden loved his cake...he wasn't sure what to do at first but as soon as he tasted it he loved it:) His Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Chuck got him the little four wheeler that makes lots of noise and he loves it.
I just had my doctors appointment today and, not that I didn't know already, we are pregnant:) I'm ten and a half weeks today so I'm due on March 22nd. Since it will be a c-section, our doctor said he will take the baby sometime between the 12th and the 16th. Camden and his little sibling will be about seventeen months apart! We're so excited and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a little girl-if it is her name will be Caylin Marie and if it's a boy it will be Cade-no middle name picked out yet:) Anyway, we've had a busy summer so far. Creston graduated with his bachelors degree and will be starting his masters program in October. Camden and I have been hanging out at home mostly-staying out of the heat. I've been feeling pretty sick the past while but not nearly as sick as I was when I was pregnant with Camden so that's been nice. Camden has started crawling-well he started crawling probobly about a month ago and is getting close to being ready to walk. He's still huge and is a little cheeseball! He's so much fun now that he can get around-he's constantly moving and entertains himself so well-I love it:) Well, we'll try to post some more pictures of our big guy soon:)
So Camden went to his first Diamondbacks game on Wednesday and, I have to say, it was not fun. He fussed and squirmed the whole time, threw his toys, wouldn't eat, he was a little crazy! So I think we'll save these trips for when he's a little older.....at least we got some cute pictures out of it though:)
Camden and I had a busy week. My sister and her husband went to Las Vegas so my mom and I were watching her kids for her for a few days. We thought we would take them all up to Round Valley to stay with my dad since it wasn't so hot up there. So we hung out there for a few days and then Creston decided he wanted to come up north so he met us in Snowflake on Wednesday and we stayed there for the fourth of July weekend. We had so much fun...we're sad to be back home in the heat!! Here's some pictures of our fun week.....
We went to Greer to get out of Round Valley for a few hours and we found this spot at the creek that Camden loved. He wouldn't look up for the pictures-he was so focused on the rocks under the water....he would just stare at them and every now and then try to eat one:) We took my nieces and nephews horse back riding also and they let Camden sit on the horse for a second...he wasn't so sure about it:)
Creston was helping his parents trim some trees and he decided to dress the part:) He's such a nerd:)
Fun with Grandpa Bob! Camden loved the swing in Grandma Schelle's backyard and his Grandpa Bob worked out a lazy way to push him:) He also took him on a ride on the golf cart and the tractor...Camden had so much fun!
Here's Camden riding around on his Grandpa Bob's tractor again...we went to the parade in Taylor on Saturday and Camden came golfing with Creston and I on Thursday. He had so much fun riding in the back of the cart like that....he also loved to sit on the green while we were putting:)
Well tonight's the night!!...he's seven months old and we're finally gonna let Camden cry through the night. That's if we don't chicken out before bedtime:) Our doctor has been telling us to do this basically since Camden was about 4 months old. He tries to tell me in nice ways that Camden's plenty "big" and can make it all night without eating:) I KNOW that I have a fat little boy and he definalty doesn't NEED the food but I hate to hear him cry so it's taken me a long time to build up the courage to do it. I so miss getting a full night's sleep though...so I'm a little excited...but very nervous! Anyway here's some pics from the past few days....
Camden got his first haircut the other day! I thought I'd be able to spike it a little with some gel now since it's short enough but I tried that and it didn't work so well-his hair is still too fine. Anyway here he is on the love sac(a little blurry)...his new favorite thing to do is lay on here with a bottle and watch baby Mozart-he LOVES it and it's so cute so we love it too:)
So here's what we've been up to lately...we finished decorating Camden's room..we added the border, the letters, and the pics on the wall. LaSchelle is the one who showed me how to do everything and helped me put it all up- it turned out so cute!! We also rearranged the family room/loft area upstairs and added some stuff in there...I'm not sure if I love it yet but it's coming along:) And this is the FHE board I made at craft night...took me forever but I love it:)
